General Description

This article describes how to map your Career Account Storage or "H: Drive" in Windows Vista for on campus users and off campus users.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Open My Computer

  2. Click Map Network Drive



  3. Select a Drive Letter (H:, for example)



  4. In Folder enter \\rosetta.ics.purdue.edu\your_user_name where your_user_name is your Purdue user name

    • If on-campus (Residence Halls, Purdue Airlink, & Purdue ADSL):
      • \\rosetta.ics.purdue.edu\your_user_name
      • \\128.210.10.43\your_user_name

    • If off-campus:
      • \\128.210.10.43\username

  5. Check Reconnect at logon

  6. Click Finish

  7. When prompted, enter your user name and password



  8. Check Remember My Password

  9. Click OK

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to connect to your Career Account storage, make sure that folder addresses are entered properly. If you continue to have problems, contact the ITaP Customer Service Center at (765) 494-4000.
