How to find wired MAC Address
- Open 'System Preferences' and select Network.
- From the Show: drop down list, select "Built-in Ethernet".
- Select the Ethernet Tab
- Your MAC Address is labeled "Ethernet ID:"
How to find wireless MAC Address
- Open 'System Preferences' and select Network.
- From the Show: drop down list, select 'Airport'
- Your MAC Address is labeled 'Airport ID'
Troubleshooting
If you are on Mac OS 10.2 or earlier, select TCP/IP tab instead of the Ethernet tab. Your wired MAC Address will be labeled as 'Ethernet Address:'
